Tablescapes

We created some fun tablescapes for one of our favorite woman owned small businesses in Houston, Over the Top Linens We love their ongoing support of our little company and couldn't have been happier when they are asked us to assist them with decorating their booth for the Bridal Extravaganza.  This is what we came up with, let us know what you think...

For these gorgeous floral printed linens we decided to accent them with stacked wooden cubes with simple greenery and sola flowers.  With a very busy linen it can be tough to select florals that help accent without taking away from the beautiful texture and color that they bring. 

Magnolia centerpieces were used to create a fauna themed area.  The leaves are so dark and masculine and helped contrast the very feminine linens.

You can never go wrong with a lush runner down the length of your table.  It makes such a statement and still allows the guests to interact.  

Collaborating

Over The Top Linen asked us to decorate a Kate Spade inspired tablescape for their recent open house.  We were thrilled such a talented, lovely group of ladies asked and quickly agreed to the task.  This is what I came up with, enjoy!

It Began Well, VERY Well

We have to be the luckiest! I truly hope that all other business owners have as wonderful clients as we do.  I think this sweet card says it all.  She handed it to me before the wedding and with tears in her eyes as she saw her bridal bouquet.

Here's to 2014.  It's going to be a good one.

This year will be the best one yet! We have already booked more brides than I could have ever imagined and continue to create events with some of the best clients I could ever wish for.

I am so thankful and anxiously walk into 2014 with new plans, dreams, ambitions and goals to make this year even better than the last!

Jamie and Seth

Jamie was such a beautiful bride.  She has a sweet, calm, confident sense about her that is incredibly appealing.  I met her less than a year ago after one of my previous brides referred us.  Which is always such an incredible honor.  Let's think about it for a minute.  Most floral designers are artist creating art through flowers.  We are emotionally attached to every piece of art we create just like any other artist.  And for one of our brides who has seen our art, experienced it and loved it enough to entrust it to another loved one... is... well... exactly what I wanted when I started this little business.
