There are so many good things happening over here at Maxit. But first let's get to the most important... we are finally pulling the trigger in planning our next series of floral workshops! We have received so many requests and feel so honored that this is happening. Eek!! Thank you guys. :-)

But first, this past weekend we were honored to help take part in a good friend's workshop. Kristara is the founder and creator at Kristara, A Houston Calligraphy Studio. Having Thanksgiving right around the corner makes me embrace the seasonal colors fall offers us. The deep tones and endless textures are something no other time of year creates. Its masculine, dark, and inspires moody arrangements that are only seen during this time. Here are some images of an arrangement I made from some leftovers we had from a workshop a little while ago.

Sometimes I get a minute to look at old images that I must post! In the midst of the fall/winter event and wedding madness I had to share this gem. This wedding bouquet was created this past summer for one of my favorite brides. She was referred to me by a fellow business owner, which is always such an honor.
Our bride was looking for a fun, Great Gatsby theme bouquet in blush, white and gold. With these requirements I knew that it would be a fun one. Here's what I can up with:
